Saint-Petersburg Open 2010 and the St. Petersburg Team Cup
Table Hockey Federation of Saint Petersburg announces the greatest event of the year - the stage of the World Tour of table hockey - Saint-Petersburg Open 2010 - which will take place on May 15, 2010.
This competition which is undoubtedly the most significant event for all 10-years history of table hockey in Saint Petersburg will be held in Petersburg Sports and Concert Complex which is one of the biggest complexes of such type in Europe!
Saint-Petersburg Open 2010 which will be held on Neva’s banks for the first time promises to become bright and comprehensive event.
This event is also unique by the fact that the same players, who will participate in the stage of the World Tour, next day, on May 16, 2010, will play in the St. Petersburg Team Cup.

Registration
Entry fee
The entry fee for Saint-Petersburg Open 2010 is RUR 500 and is payable at the venue during the confirmation of the registration before the tournament.
The entry fee for St. Petersburg Team Cup is RUR 1500 for the team and is payable at the venue during the confirmation of the registration before the tournament.
The Regulations of Saint-Petersburg Open 2010
The tournament is being held according to the rules of the game by ITHF and according to the rules of ITHF tournaments.
The scheme of execution:
1st stage – 8 qualifying groups (12-15 participants). Round tournament (1 - leg) is being held in every group.
2nd stage – Major League – two groups, 24 participants in every group (places 1-6 in every qualifying group), First League – 24 players (places 7-9 in every qualifying group), Second League - 24 players (places 10-12 in every qualifying group), Third League (places 13-15 in every qualifying group). Round tournament (1 - leg) is being held in every group.
3rd stage – Play-off – the best 8 players from every group in Major League. Play-off – up to 4 wins on all stages of the series.

1\8 finals: 1A-8B (Pair 1), 2A-7B (Pair 2), 3A-6B (Pair 3), 4A-5B (Pair 4), 5A-4B (Pair 5), 6A-3B (Pair 6), 7A-2B (Pair 7), 8A-1B (Pair 8).
1\4 finals: Winner of Pair 1 – Winner of Pair 5 (Pair 9), Winner of Pair 2 – Winner of Pair 6 (Pair 10), Winner of Pair 3 – Winner of Pair 7 (Pair 11), Winner of Pair 4 – Winner of Pair 8 (Pair 12).
1\2 finals: Winner of Pair 9 – Winner of Pair 11 (Pair 13), Winner of Pair 10 – Winner of Pair 12 (Pair 14).
Final: Winner of Pair 13 – Winner of Pair 14.
The Regulations of St. Petersburg Team Cup
The tournament is being held according to the Rules of the game by ITHF and the Rules of ITHF Tournaments.
All games are played in 4x4 format.
Each team’s registration should be no more than 6.
Short scheme of the play:
1st stage – qualifying groups. Round tournament (1 – leg) is being held in every group.
2nd stage – Playoff – the best 8 teams.
The organizing committee will announce the exact scheme of the tournament according to the number of teams registered for the tournament.
